Artist Bio

Art and nature have been my lifelong passion.

The inspiration for my art has been derived from a constant observation of light, color, shape and seasonal changes. Growing up and living in the Southeastern Wisconsin countryside and spending leisure time in Door County, have lent itself to developing my appreciation for the beauty of nature.

In 2004, I underwent chemotherapy for breast cancer. I found that my best therapy was art. After my recovery, I was reborn as a full-time artist. I discovered that by using imaging software, photography and my strong artistic perspective, I was able to render uniquely original works of art as high quality, limited edition, giclee’ (zhee-CLAY) prints and as art tiles.
